Detailed route instructions from Josselin to

 La Ville au Tady via Guegon

This is our recommended route if you are unfamiliar with the location of Guegon and La Ville au Tady, and keeps to the main roads rather than taking shortcuts. The distances indicated are from the last instruction. Once you are familiar with this main route, you will find there are shortcuts and alternative routes to Josselin.

At Josselin keep on the main dual carriageway (N24)		If you have time to kill, and room to spare, you may wish to call in at the Supermarket en route to the cottage. If so, take the main Josselin exit off the N24 (exits not numbered, but you see the SuperU on your left just prior to the exit). Go under the dual carriageway and to the roundabout – the SuperU is on your left and the Champion on your right. Petrol stations at both supermarkets. After shopping rejoin the dual carriageway.
Start	Cross over the Nantes-Brest Canal, then exit right signed Guegon C203.	As you come off the slip road you pass a builders merchant on your left. Stay on the road as it bears left, go past the pallets depot on your left, then…
0.2 miles	Turn left to drive under the N24.	Pass under the dual carriageway road that you have just left.
0.3 miles	Stay on the main road which bears right to a T junction. At the T junction, turn left onto the C3 signed Guegon.	Pass the fishing lake on your right.
0.8 miles	On entering Guegon there is a small roundabout, take the 1st exit	Pass the painted war memorial on your right, keep on the road ahead. Pass the Town Hall on your right and the restaurant on your left. Stop at the T junction with Bar Saxo on your right.
800ft	At the T junction turn right	Drive out of the village on this road for 1 mile.
1.7 miles	At a minor cross roads turn left signposted Penroc / Coet Bugat	Drive through the small hamlet of Penroc (written “Panros” on maps) that consists of a few houses and farms.
1 mile	Follow road ahead to cross bridge over River Seddon.	The road bears sharp right and turns steeply downwards to cross over the bridge of the River Seddon. The Mill House (Moulin de Penroc) is on your right. The road winds steeply up the other side of the river valley.
0.3	After the sign for Montgrenier, turn immediate right signposted La Ville au Tady.	After taking the right turn, go past the farm houses and farm buildings to your right and left. Drive around the corner and after the barns on the left, our cottage is the first house on the right.
0.1 miles	Arrive at cottage	The drive has a small wall to the right and a raised bed to the left, so take care when reversing – best to have some one keep watch for you until you get used to it.
